    make sure that the image is in the same folder where your HTML is stored. Also make sure that you actually opened the image in paint, then rename it with the extension you want it to be. png jpg gif bmp for most browsers jpg is better png works but sometimes are not recognized.

    I dabble with html, but never with css cause I was always thinking you had to go to college to know how it all worked. But, now that I have seen this vid, I am playing about it it now, and going to do my next page with more css. Very cool.

    What you should do is open the image file into paint and change the setting to .jpg that way it should appear also if you are putting at the end of the img tag if you are doing /> and finishing the tag like that it can also cause it to not work

    Excellent tutorial. I really enjoyed how you used plain old notepad without talking down to people that use other methods of editing. I also liked how you provided examples of using what was intructed. I will look to see if you have other tuts out there as well.
